Risk Manager, Seller Compliance Enablement Bengaluru, Karnataka, IND The Acting on Behalf of Sellers (ABS) team within Seller Compliance Enablement (SCE), part of Regulatory Intelligence Safety and Compliance (RISC), is seeking a Risk Manager to drive global product compliance programs that reduce Selling Partner friction while maintaining customer trust and safety. The Risk Manager will be responsible for managing difficult risk programs and projects where the risk strategy is defined but business problems and solutions require scoping. This includes partnering with external teams and service providers and internal partner teams (e.g., engineering, Legal, product) to solve risk problems, performing deep dives into compliance gaps, leading data-driven mitigation initiatives, identifying and defining key performance metrics, and supporting product and service launches that bring risk within tolerance levels across global marketplaces. Key job responsibilities The Risk Manager will serve as a subject matter expert for their program area, staying current on industry trends including changing regulations and innovations in risk mitigation. They will assess risks, identify gaps in compliance processes, and lead initiatives that mitigate these risks through process improvement and risk-mitigation methodologies such as risk assessments and Lean. Day-to-day responsibilities include measuring and testing controls to inform program-level risk assessments, identifying key performance indicators, making data-driven recommendations on risk tolerance levels, and contributing to program documentation including narratives, escalation responses, and risk assessments.
