About this role
Production Supervisor, 2nd Shift BH, Amazon Leo Kirkland, Washington, USA Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we've designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. We are seeking a talented and motivated Production Supervisor to lead production operations at Amazon Leo. Key job responsibilities - Hire, develop and supervise leads and a large group of highly skilled technicians focused on Leo satellite production. Includes annual reviews, career development and managing corrective and disciplinary actions. - Coordinate with other Leo leaders and manufacturing engineers to plan and coordinate daily tasks for technicians and activities of all operations with an ability to adapt to changing schedules and other dynamic priorities. - Establish on-the-job training programs and standardized opportunities for team members to learn new skills and progress in their career. - Independently perform integration and test of the Leo satellite and various complex subassemblies in a cleanroom and ESD controlled environment. - Inspect and verify your team's work after completion to ensure engineering and quality standards are met. - Author, maintain, and train others to all relevant process documentation, including Assembly, Inspection, Testing/In-Process Characterization, and Packaging Procedures. - Collaborate with manufacturing, design, operations and test engineers to develop, document and complete activities, including continuous improvement opportunities -
