About this role
PR Specialist, Devices & Services Communications Seattle, Washington, USA Are you energized by the opportunity to build mechanisms for a global team? Are you passionate about using industry insights to inform storytelling and event strategies for media, analysts, creators, and more? Amazon is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, high-judgement, and creative professional to join our Devices & Services Comms team in Seattle. As a PR Specialist, you will work with the Comms team and key business leaders to design and execute programs that support our cross-team launch strategy, including building mechanisms that benefit the entire Comms team and executing major launch moments. In this role, you will work across many of our core businesses, including Echo, Alexa, Fire TV, Ring, Kindle, and more. You will also lead the D&S Industry Intelligence Program, delivering insights that inform our communications strategies. Strong candidates will have a track record of managing complex, multi-workstream projects independently, with the initiative to spot process problems and fix them. They will communicate proactively, earn trust across teams, and navigate fast-changing environments with sound judgment. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - Experience coordinating cross-functional inputs, meeting deadlines, and effectively managing competing priorities - Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal - Experience engaging and influencing senior executives - 5+ years of experience in PR, communications, event management, or a related field. - Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-workstream events or programs end-to-end. - Experience building, maintaining, and measuring communications or project management mechanisms.
