Power Test Engineer, Satellite Power Hardware-In-The-Loop, Amazon Leo Redmond, Washington, USA Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. We are seeking a Test Engineer, who is familiar with the validation of hardware and software stacks that comprise of our satellite's vehicle power system. We support the design, build, and test of complex vehicle power hardware and software systems for Amazon Leo satellites. This role is hands-on and spans flight vehicle design and verification, test infrastructure design reviews, cross-functional technical engagement, and execution of validation campaigns for current and next-generation power components and systems of the Amazon Leo Satellite product roadmap. You will work closely with Electric, Systems, Mechanical, Thermal, Reliability, Manufacturing, and external partners to ensure power systems meet targeted performance, safety, and mission requirements. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
