Amazon Web Services is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead the Central Regions mechanical design group and become part of a global engineering team, responsible for the design and continuous innovation of our rapidly expanding data center foot print. In this role you will manage a team of engineers that influence all aspects of Mechanical design, construction, operations, and maintenance for our global fleet of data centers. This includes coordination with discipline leads across the AMER regions. You will work with internal and external teams to define, design, detail, and document the various Mechanical features that our facilities require, using both prescriptive and performance-based design approaches. As an Owner, you will strive to ensure the Mechanical features of our buildings protect our people and keep our customer's data safe and uninterrupted over the life of the building. We expect you to contribute your expertise to the continual improvement of our Mechanical design standards.
