Maintenance Technician - Night Shift , Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) Sydney, New South Wales, AUS Amazon is seeking for Maintenance Technicians to join our team at our site in Horsley Park, Sydney. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll keep our site operating safely and efficiently by maintaining and repairing material handling equipment, automated packaging, and distribution machinery. You'll respond to breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, and implement long-term improvements to reduce downtime. We are hiring a permanent night shift positions, working on a Monday - Thursday (10-hour shifts x 4 days) shift pattern. These roles are entitled to annual leave and penalty rates where applicable. Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out. React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected teams and work efficiently to fix the issue. Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager. Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers. Support and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians. A day in the life Our RME Technicians are based on-site, so they can respond quickly to any machinery issues. You'll carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites' equipment to make sure it's working safely.
