Lab Test Engineer, Amazon Leo Kirkland, Washington, USA Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. This role is for a highly dynamic and motivated individual that will support the Mechanisms and Mixed Model Assembly production and engineering teams. We are looking for an individual who works well with engineering teams under minimal oversight to take ground support equipment from concept to production. This will be a production oriented position so expect the work to be fast paced and exciting. Key job responsibilities - Work closely with the Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering team to troubleshoot issues, keep the line running, improve process, and drive quality initiatives - Mechanical and electrical assembly of various spacecraft ground support equipment - Build and execute various development tests - Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and other documentation for all test racks in Mechanisms - Document procedures to ensure consistent quality checks and equipment operation Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
