Our web services provide a platform for IT infrastructure in-the-cloud that is used by hundreds of thousands of developers, businesses, and government organizations around the world. These customers range from start-ups to leading web companies, large enterprises, and government ministries. Key job responsibilities As the leader of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Public Sector, this role holds full responsibility for all aspects of the government, education, health and non-profit business and will take the lead to shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS within the Public Sector market segments. This position, being the AWS single threaded leader for Public Sector in the UAE, leads all groups in the region with single point accountability for delivering business outcomes for our customers and the company. Basic Qualifications: - Experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals - Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks - Experience in written and spoken English and an ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses - · Minimum 10+ years of experience relationship building and influencing at the C and minister level. - · Experience leading a regional, cross-functional, virtual team
