Finance Manager, JP Retail Finance, Product Family Finance Tokyo, JPN The Amazon Japan Consumer Business is looking for a Finance Manager to join the Retail Finance Team! “Finance” in Amazon has similarities to 経営企画室・経営戦略本部 in Japanese companies in which you own a wide variety of planning and analysis responsibilities. This role will mainly support our one of the product families (business unit) in the Amazon.co.jp e-commerce business and will partner with business leaders across the teams to drive topline growth and profitability, with a keen focus on our customers, also lead or be involved in JP-wide initiatives/projects beyond the product family. Key job responsibilities This role is responsible for the controllership, strategic analysis, planning, forecasting, and reporting for the responsible product family. It touches full P/L and will require understanding and strategizing selection, cost including end to end logistics options, and support breakthrough customer experience projects by leading financial analysts and partnering with senior business leaders. It is a unique opportunity with a broad scope to partner with teams critical to the customer experience for consumers in Japan. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to operationalize and improve process and mechanisms and provide analytical support for strategic decision-making based on quantitative analyses, think strategically, and manage projects with multiple stakeholders.
