About this role
Factory Materials Quality Manager, Global Operations & Manufacturing Shenzhen, CHN - Management of our factory managed part supplier quality: - Provide coaching and training to facilitate suppliers, developing quality programs to ensure highest level of quality and reliability is consistently delivered on time at the optimum cost. - Interface with suppliers in resolving complex manufacturing process, quality and reliability issues, utilizing DOE and statistical approach. Provide technical and systems support related to both quality systems and technical product related issues - Conduct potential supplier qualification audits in both system and process levels. - Management of Materials In Line DPPM performance(LVRR): - Close monitor In Line DPPM performance of all of our key material parts. - Trigger quality alerts to SQMs when any key parts fall out rate exceed target. Work with the supplier to drive improvement in these material parts. - Manage CM IQC readiness to fit with program schedule. Analyze the IQC data to provide the program update to the team timely and precisely. - Follow up the SCAR/8D procedure with SQM/suppliers and drive for material quality issue closure. - Develop and deploy relevant tools and activities across the organization as needed. - Initiate regular assessments and reviews of our IQC inspection specifications taking into account recent performance of the material part. - Key decision maker on disposition of incoming materials that do not meet our incoming criteria. - Work with the appropriate Supplier Quality Manager (SQM) to drive improvement of incoming material quality. - Champion regular improvement activities
