We are looking for highly motivated individuals to work as Clinical Consultants for our Disability and Leave Service (DLS) organization. This is an in-office job located in Hyderabad, India. Join Amazon's Disability Leave Services (DLS) team in building a world-class program delivering leave of absence, disability, and accommodation services globally. The “DLS Clinical Consultant”, serves as a clinical resource assisting the case managers, providing clinical recommendations and co-management activities on STD and Accommodation claims. The expectation is to review clinical information and provide recommendations regarding associates functional capacity/impairment and their ability to perform the essential functions of their job. Through an advocacy approach, the DLS Clinical Consultant facilitates and partners with case management team for effective and timely decisions and coordinates a return-to-work plan through a high-touch approach to ensure a positive customer experience. The DLS Clinical Consultant are expected to have a strong clinical knowledge, understanding of ICD-10, diagnostic codes, understand how medical conditions impact functionality impairment and capacity and how it impacts the essential job functions of the employees at Amazon (Ability to apply clinical knowledge for absence management).
