Do you want to drive that analysis into actions that enable business? Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security is looking for an experienced, organized, self-driven, and results-oriented Security Industry Specialist to join the AWS Security Assurance team. This organization provides external stakeholders with judicious transparency and confidence regarding AWS's security posture, compliance capabilities, and risk management practices. In this role, you will lead cross-functional projects and programs that span multiple stakeholders, including internal product owners, engineers, operators, compliance specialists, finance and legal partners. You will partner with these teams to deeply understand and analyze new and emerging regulatory, customer, or third-party security requirements. Key job responsibilities The leader in this role will be required to: - Manage multiple, sometimes competing, priorities simultaneously; - Distill complex and ambiguous technical problems to their core elements; - Translate problems into business and technical requirements and tactical actions; - Identify and engage subject matter experts across multiple organizations (tech and non-tech) and disciplines to define potential solutions; - Scope the cost, technical, and operational impact of potential solutions; - Develop recommendations based upon data; - Craft clear written and verbal communications about the problem, solutions and recommendations for audiences
