About this role
Associate Corporate Counsel, Global Entertainment Legal Tokyo, JPN Do you love entertainment, media, and technology? This position, based in Tokyo, will support the Prime Video and Amazon Music businesses in Japan. You will be an integral part of these businesses and will provide ongoing legal counsel across a range of fields, including intellectual property, digital media, and regulatory compliance; and structuring, drafting, and negotiating licensing, marketing, and other commercial agreements. You will also work closely with US and other international legal and business teams worldwide. The successful candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. The successful candidate will be client-service oriented, and be able to look at the bigger picture while also paying great attention to detail on tight deadlines. The successful candidate will also be able to prioritize appropriately and easily switch gears without sacrificing quality of work, maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, and have the ability to work well with people at all levels.
