About this role
Solutions Architect (International Trade & Customs) Amsterdam, Netherlands Altana is the network for trusted trade. Our AI-powered product network empowers governments and businesses to build a more resilient and secure global economy while keeping trade flowing. The Opportunity at Altana As we scale our international government business in Europe, we're hiring a Solutions Consultant (internally part of our Sales Engineering / pre-sales team) to be the technical lead on Altana's work with customs authorities, finance ministries, and trade enforcement agencies across the EU. You'll bring deep domain expertise in government-side trade and customs - customs enforcement and modernization, sanctions and export controls, forced labor and supply chain due diligence, and CBAM - and translate that expertise into the technical sales work that wins deals: architecting solutions, running demos, closing new business, navigating complex stakeholder conversations, and shaping how Altana's platform meets the realities of European public sector customers. You'll partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing, and act as the voice of the customer back to our product and engineering teams. This is a foundational hire as we establish our presence in the Netherlands. You Will - Deeply understand international trade, economic security, and associated subject matter, Altana's technology, and our customer base-and demonstrate effective communication with respect to each. - Support the sales process to potential customers and existing customers in the customs and trade space-identifying new use cases to address stakeholder needs before they have articulated them. - Become a power-user of the Altana platform, leveraging customer
