Job Description: Role Summary The Scientist I, Sample Management and Laboratory Operations supports clinical and non-clinical sample operations across sample receipt, chain of custody, storage, reconciliation, and transfer. This role works closely with scientists, study teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure samples and associated data are managed accurately, safely, and in compliance with applicable SOPs, study plans, and regulatory requirements. The position also supports assay-ready sample delivery, laboratory documentation, and routine process improvements. Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to support sample management and laboratory operations aligned to business and study needs. Safely handle biological matrices such as serum, plasma, blood, lysates, CSF, and related materials. Maintain end-to-end sample integrity, including storage, distribution for testing, and final disposition of samples. Independently complete sample check-in activities within the validated laboratory information system or LIMS, such as receive, inspect, log, store, and transfer biological samples.
