The CPTO will own Nira's product roadmap and execution, manage a VP of Engineering, a VP of Transmission Planning, and our individual Product Leads. Ultimately this role will be responsible for building the function that helps the company scale product development with speed and quality from end to end. This is not a classic CTO role and not a pure CPO role. Your work will directly accelerate renewables getting built. This work could include rolling out new regions, adding new features or even building brand new products out. Nira operates in the niche world of Grid Interconnection, which means as a SWE, you'll get to learn about how new renewables get connected to the grid. Day to day, you'll work very closely with Transmission Planning Engineers (TPEs) to get your job done. Both the SWEs and TPEs only have half the picture, so our teams have to be extremely cross-discipline and collaborative. Most teams are structured with 1 PM, 1 SWE and 1 TPE.
