Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Europe)
Trigger.dev - Remote or Hybrid UK | RemoteIndexed from Ashbyposted 69 days agoWhy we showed this
Description: "ai"Hybrid - 2d office From the posting source Engineering From the posting source - Senior From the posting source Salary not disclosedSenior Site Reliability Engineer (Europe) Remote or Hybrid UK | Remote ABOUT TRIGGER.DEV Trigger.dev http://Trigger.dev is a developer platform for building and running AI agents and workflows. We provide everything needed to create production-grade agents: an SDK, deploying, scaling, monitoring, and debugging them without needing to manage any infrastructure. Our Cloud product is a managed service where we deploy our users' code and auto-scale from zero to millions of executions. Today, we serve thousands of teams building AI apps and agents, handling hundreds of millions of executions per month. ABOUT THE POSITION We're hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to keep Trigger.dev http://Trigger.dev fast, observable and hard to break as we scale. You'll work across our open source codebase and the Cloud product that runs it in production. We're handling hundreds of millions of executions a month on infrastructure we run ourselves, and the next order of magnitude needs someone who thinks in distributed systems and treats observability and security as part of the product, not bolted on later. Day to day you'll be chasing bottlenecks, hardening services like the sandbox runtime that executes untrusted user code, and making the platform legible to the engineers running it at 3am. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING You'll do a variety of things including: - Owning observability across the platform. Extending our OpenTelemetry instrumentation, sanding down noisy signals, and making metrics, logs and traces something engineers actually reach for during incidents. - Designing and operating the distributed systems primitives we lean on (queues, schedulers,

Role: semantic matchUnspecified Engineering From the posting source - Mid From the posting source Salary not disclosed EquityAI Engineer - Core San Francisco, California, United States Hilbert is building a reasoning engine that must navigate non-deterministic user behavior across data silos - turning months-long decision cycles into minutes. Fully agentic by design, our demand intelligence platform doesn't just call APIs; it solves the hard problem of orchestrating multi-step inference over messy, high-stakes enterprise data where deterministic answers don't exist. From Fortune 500 enterprises to beloved brands like FreshDirect, Blank Street, and Levain Bakery, operators run their growth on Hilbert. We're also co-building alongside leading AI companies. We're looking for an AI Engineer who can build production-grade AI systems end-to-end - from prototype to pipeline to product - with the ownership and urgency of a startup culture. This is not a "wire up a prompt chain and move on" role. You'll own core pieces of the AI stack that power Hilbert's demand intelligence platform - designing agent architectures, building evaluation systems, and making hard tradeoffs between accuracy, latency, and cost in production. You'll ship fast in conditions where the spec is evolving, and communicate what you're building (and why) with clarity to the rest of the team. If you think in systems, have opinions about how agentic workflows should actually work, and want to build AI products that drive real enterprise outcomes, we want to meet you. THE ROLE You'll work directly with the founding team and across product, data, and GTM to design, build, and improve the AI systems at the heart of Hilbert. The environment is

Role: semantic matchUnspecified Security From the posting source - Mid From the posting source Salary not disclosed Inferred from posting 401(k) reportedAbuse Investigator (AI Self-Improvement Risk) San Francisco, California, United States About the Team OpenAI's mission is to ensure that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity. We believe that achieving our goal requires real world deployment and iteratively updating based on what we learn. The Intelligence and Investigations team supports this by identifying and investigating misuses of our products - especially new and emerging classes of risk. This enables our partner teams to develop data-backed policies and safety mitigations. Precisely understanding how models behave in real-world conditions allows us to safely enable users to build useful things with our products. About the Role As an Abuse Investigator focused on AI Self-Autonomy and Agentic Risk on the Intelligence and Investigations team, you will be responsible for identifying and investigating cases where models exhibit autonomous or agentic behavior, including chaining capabilities, acting with increasing independence, or demonstrating patterns that may introduce safety risk. This includes detecting behaviors that are not explicitly intended, understood, or covered by existing safeguards. This role requires deep domain-specific expertise in identifying, understanding, and mitigating risk from agentic systems, model autonomy, and AI self-improvement signals. You'll need experience investigating complex systems where behavior emerges across multiple steps, tools, or interactions, and the ability to distinguish between normal task execution and concerning patterns such as persistence, workaround behavior, or capability expansion. You'll need a proven ability to navigate ambiguous signals in a rapidly evolving and highly technical environment. This role is based in our San Francisco office. Investigations may
