We are seeking technical experts in version control, continuous integration, and build systems to serve as force multipliers within our team. At Zoox, the Software Release Management team handles the complex orchestration of releases spanning vehicle, cloud, and client code bases. From initial development to full production, our mission is to streamline the build-and-release lifecycle for our autonomous vehicle technology. We are seeking technical experts in version control, continuous integration, and build systems to serve as force multipliers within our team. In this role, you will: - Secure Delivery Orchestration: Maintaining safe continuous delivery by bridging the gap between integration, quality assurance, and software engineering. - Release Oversight: Managing the release of simulation tools and autonomy software, which involves regression analysis and vehicle-level testing coordination. - Cross-Functional Alignment: Securing formal approvals from stakeholders to confirm that all releases are production-ready. - Define and track readiness indicators to ensure every release adheres to established safety and performance standards. - Scale and refine automation systems to decrease manual effort and optimize deployment workflows. Qualifications: - 3-5 years of experience working as a release/ build engineer and managing releases for large, complex products - Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience - Familiarity of source control (Git),
