As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. YouTube Resource Management is responsible for planning and provisioning global fleet resources across compute, networking, and storage to provide high quality product experiences to viewers and creators, no matter the device or location, while optimally balancing YouTube's cost objectives at scale. As a Technical Program Manager (TPgM), you will be responsible for forecasting and managing data-center and resource growth within a cost envelope by partnering with developers, Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) and Infrastructure teams so that resources are available when and where needed. You will program manage large cross functional programs to drive transparency and insights into resource growth trends. You will lead large efficiency efforts, enhance provisioning processes and policies in partnership with YouTube Resource Management engineering as efficiency is a key focus for our team.
