In Suite Assistant 1 New York, New York Responsibilities Job Title: In Suite Assistant 2 (ISA2) Reports to: Site Manager/Supervisor FLSA : Non-Exempt * This position does not meet the criteria for exemption from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act; thus you will be eligible to receive overtime compensation, as appropriate. Overtime requires prior approval from your supervisor. Job Summary The In Suite Assistant 2 (ISA2) will provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and/or administrative staff to provide optimal MRI safety and patient care. The ISA will convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety, assist MRI Technologists to ensure MRI safety, coil positioning, patient screening and/or history and patient observation during exams. Clerical duties include schedule maintenance, exam verification, patient medical records, routing documents and other tasks as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Takes accurate patient medical history with MRI safety and record information into patients' medical chart and/or electronic medical records system; for patient flow and accurate encounter documentation. Accurately maintains and records patient communication during exams. Stocks and maintains all supply levels for assigned area; orders and restocks following site guidelines/protocols. Supports technologists with procedures as needed; which includes the set-up of coils, schedule maintenance, and/or clean-up of MRI suite and other duties as assigned. Greets patients with courtesy and respect; introduces self; describes procedures; puts patients at ease.
