What you'll do The successful candidate in this role will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing Viasat's policy and regulatory strategy in the United States, working with senior leaders throughout the company. The day-to-day Job responsibilities include: Proactively shaping the U.S. policy and regulatory environment to advance company interests and objectives. Evaluating significant developments in the U.S. policy and regulatory environment to identify opportunities and risks. Formulating robust and adaptable company positions and strategies. Crafting advocacy materials to effectively communicate Viasat's positions to regulators, policymakers, and other stakeholders in formal and informal contexts. Collaborating with external counsel and consultants to maintain alignment between external advocacy and company positions. Meeting with government agencies such as the FCC and NTIA, as well as other stakeholders, to advance company interests and objectives.
