A Typical Day The IT Project Management Operations Leader (PMO) is responsible for facilitating a team that is delivering on an IT program or set of complex IT projects. As the IT PMO Leader, you will define and prioritize program and project objectives, critical success factors, and deliverables. The IT PMO Leader will: Build and maintain relationships with project owners, business stakeholders, resource leaders, technical and business teams Create a shared focus on the importance of achieving results within the team Manage life cycle of projects with traditional software development and Agile principles for strategic projects that range in scope, budget and size, involving significant levels of risk and complexity Oversee business requirement gathering, system requirement creation, and documentation Apply elements of the project management discipline at a high level of rigor, appropriate to the program or project Identify critical-path decisions, make recommendations, and influence outcomes to ensure project advancement Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors that are
