About this role
Officer - Field Services Hosur, TN, India Company Description: Job Description: Key missions of the position: Planning and Implementation of all the retrofits/maintenance & overhauling of products at Customer site Align with customer out turn of Coaches or Locomotive in workshops, sheds & depots and secure maintenance of FT products as per the customer contract agreements Maintain Environment, health and safety at workplace at customer site as per Wabtec Standard Improve Customer response time Cost Effectiveness by improving efficiency during overhauling and maintenance. Main responsibilities: Attend 5 Minutes Communication daily meeting with Site leader Every day follow 2 min Safety warning at customer site Execute all Field scheduled operations (retrofit, overhaul, maintenance etc.) in order to meet FT objectives and Customer requirements Have knowledge of special tools required during Warranty attention & maintenance and use them effectively . Ensure efficiently use of site inventory required for maintenance and overhaul Ensure feedback of field experience at all stages to improve reliability of the products Ensure to get signed off in the form of joint notes from customer immediately after performing maintenance . Responsible of EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) organization & deployment Maintain 5 S at work place at customer site Periodic reporting of the open points of Customer and follow ups till the action is closed. Qualification Minimum BE/B Tech Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
