Berkley Risk is focused on providing self-insured entities program administration services and insurance operations which can include taking or sharing risk using Berkley paper. This capability allows us to customize both an insurance company option and a purely administrative option for our customers. Responsibilities Assist in the processing of workers' compensation claims by performing technical and clerical duties as directed by the examiners. Act as assistant to an assigned claims team. Work within a team environment to meet time sensitive filing requirements as well as maintain a current workload. Request information from or provide information to the employee, employer, providers, attorneys, co-workers, MN WC Division, third parties, and others as directed. (via telephone, mail, or fax) Form completion Check issuance and related autopay entry as appropriate. Calculation and entry of reserves on assigned Permanently and Totally Disabled claims. Maintain a current diary on assigned Permanently and Totally Disabled claims. Determine accuracy of employee reimbursement requests. Accurate and timely electronic documentation of your work activity Resolve issues and inquiries regarding medical treatment bills. Resolve claims related address, coding, ve
