Software Engineer: Backend & Infrastructure San Francisco Office ABOUT THE ROLE Your role, should you choose to join us, will be as an Infrastructure / Backend Engineer on our founding team. You're the right person for this role if you're excited to build not just robust systems, but help shape the technical backbone of a category-defining company from day one. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure for AI-powered agents in production - Deploying and optimizing AI-heavy services with high availability and performance requirements - Managing infrastructure as code, cloud environments, and CI/CD pipelines - Implementing monitoring, observability, and alerting to ensure system reliability - Contributing to infrastructure security and best practices You likely have: - Experience deploying and productionizing ML or AI-heavy workloads - Expertise in building secure, scalable systems on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP - Deep knowledge of backend systems, networking, and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) - Familiarity with infrastructure security principles and compliance (e.g., SOC2) - The mindset of an owner: proactive, hands-on, and driven to solve problems end-to-end COMPENSATION - The rare opportunity to join a formidable team to build an enduring company, in person, as a first 20 employee - Competitive compensation - Significant equity upside - Medical /
