About this role
Mechanic & Driver - London Your mission at Voi For the Mechanic & Driver (Fleet Specialist) position, you'll have the opportunity to work across two main operational areas, with tasks allocated by the Team Lead based on business needs. In our mechanical team , you'll focus on the maintenance and repair of our vehicles, keeping our scooters in excellent condition and providing crucial support to colleagues in the field. In our in‑field team , you'll use our vans to carry out different tasks around the London area, ensuring our operations run safely, smoothly and reliably for our riders. Depending on daily priorities and workload, your Team Lead will assign you to one area or the other, giving you variety in your day‑to‑day while making sure we cover the most important operational needs. Here are some of the tasks awaiting you as a Fleet Specialist: - Ensuring the logistics of collecting and deploying Voi scooters ⚙️ - Searching for and collecting damaged scooters 🛴 - Replacing batteries so vehicles are always ready to ride 🔋 - Performing quick on‑site repairs of scooters 🔧 - Diagnosing and repairing broken vehicles 🔧 - Recycling and dismantling vehicles that cannot be repaired ♻️ - Assisting with the acceptance, packaging and preparation of new vehicles and batteries arriving at the warehouse 🔍 - Supporting our on‑site team as needed - for example, identifying damaged vehicles, clearing parking spaces or setting up fallen vehicles 🤝 You'll work closely with a supportive team that shares knowledge and
