Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay is currently seeking applicants for a SiC Process Development Engineering Manager. Location : Newport, South Wales What you would be doing: SiC Process Development Lead the development and optimization of SiC unit processes, including ion implantation and activation anneals, oxidation, dielectric deposition, etch, wafer surface preparation, and metallization. Establish robust process windows, control plans, and specifications to meet electrical performance, reliability, and yield targets. Drive DOE-based experiments to understand process interactions and continuously improve performance. Manufacturing Ramp & Technology Transfer Own the transfer of processes from R&D to pilot and high-volume manufacturing, ensuring scalability and manufacturability. Support capacity ramp by improving cycle time, tool matching, and cost of ownership. Troubleshoot and resolve process and manufacturability challenges during ramp-up. Process Control, Yield & Reliability Implement advanced
