What you'll do The Cable Engineering Group (CEG) is looking for an expert Wire Harness Designer to join our outstanding team! In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for the design of cables and harnesses, including all related content for various products. Mentor more junior level members of the team and provide recommendations. Your strong communication and organization skills combined with your knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and EMI design will serve you well as you generate wire lists, assembly drawings, specify connector and wire types, and work with systems, electrical, test and operations engineering teams to ensure a quality and manufacturable product. The day-to-day Generate sophisticated cable and harness design packages Lead group discussions. Mentor junior designers Provide mentorship to programs in identifying critical components and design features and challenges. What you'll need 10+ years of related experience Associate of Science Degree in technology or proven work experience Strong practical experience with SolidWorks, or other CAD based wire harness design tools.
