Leader. Sound like you? As a Program Manager in Antenna Systems at Viasat, you will play all these roles and more! Your experience leading talented professionals across engineering, operations, supply chain, and contracts groups will enable your program team to meet its key commitments during development of ground-based satellite communication systems. This role requires expertise in leading complex programs, coordinating teams, mitigating risks, and fostering strong customer relationships while ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion. The day-to-day In this role, you will form and sustain effective cross-functional teams across geographically dispersed locations throughout the program life cycle. You and your program leadership team will solve complex programs and program execution through leadership, planning, scheduling, financial reporting, budgeting, and deliverables management. You will use your skilled leadership and problem-solving skills to apply formal program management techniques (i.e., EVMS) and achieve the goals of the program and business area which are key to your success. Outstanding communication, decision-making, negotiation, and the ability to resolve challenges are key enablers for success in the role!
