With hundreds of agency partners around the world, Via is recognized as the leading transportation technology and service provider globally. As a Mechanic on Via's Operations team, you'll be hands-on every day - diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the buses and support vehicles that keep our transit service running. This is a technical, floor-focused role for someone who takes pride in getting under the hood, solving problems the right way the first time, and keeping a fleet on the road safely and reliably. This is an in-person position with the expectation that you will be on-site 5 days per week. While standard schedules are provided, this role does require flexibility to work occasional evenings, Saturdays, and extended hours as business needs arise. What You'll Do: - Perform routine preventive maintenance on transit vehicles and support equipment, including fluid changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, tire rotations, and scheduled service intervals - Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues across engines, transmissions, braking systems, HVAC, suspension, steering, and electrical systems. -
