Engineering Manager, Remix New York Via is on a mission to create public transportation systems that provide far greater access to jobs, healthcare, and education. As an Engineering Manager on the Remix team at Via, you will lead a talented full-stack team building the transit planning tools that cities rely on to design smarter, more equitable transportation. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical leadership with real-world impact, shipping features that directly shape the daily commute of millions. This is a hybrid position with the expectation that you will be onsite in NYC 2-3 days a week. About the Role: - Lead and grow a team of full-stack engineers building Remix's core planning products tools that help transit planners explore network concepts, model scenarios, and communicate their vision to stakeholders. - Own the technical direction of a product that blends complex geospatial data, rich React UIs, and robust backend services - balancing performance, usability, and reliability across the full stack. - Partner closely with product managers, designers, and customers to deeply understand planner workflows, and translate those insights into engineering priorities and architectural decisions. - Mentor engineers at all levels, running thoughtful 1:1s, growing careers, and creating a culture where ownership, curiosity, and feedback
