About this role
Director, Strategic Partnerships, DACH Berlin Via is using technology to transform transportation around the world. From changing a single person's daily commute to reducing humanity's collective environmental footprint - we've got huge goals. As a Director, Strategic Partnerships at Via, you'll drive regional sales efforts across both public and private sectors to build an inclusive, sustainable, and tech-enabled framework for mobility. In this role, you'll be creative and entrepreneurial to identify opportunities and generate new business in DACH, our largest European market. This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role. What You'll Do - Lead strategy and execution for full-cycle sales efforts across DACH, from opening doors with public and private partners to closing multi-year strategic deals - Turn complex policy, funding, and operational contexts into clear, data-driven business cases, working to make transit better for the region. - Build durable, revenue-generating relationships with a diverse group of clients, from elected officials to private-sector leaders, navigating the market's unique buying landscape - Be a thought partner to clients and the broader community: consult and educate on transit plans and funding opportunities, while championing Via's mission as the face of our technology through local campaigns, conferences, and thought leadership. What You Bring - 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, consulting, or advisory roles with a strong closing track record. - A consultative seller who knows how to use data to build compelling narratives. - Fluent in German (native-level) and English; persuasive and clear in conversations, presentations, and proposals. - A
