The Sr Manager - Information Security, Tools and Engineering , is responsible for developing and collaborating across departments to implement Verisign's information security program. The primary goal of the this role is to lead the implementation and operational maturity of the organization's security tooling ecosystem. This role oversees the engineering team responsible for deploying, integrating, monitoring, automating and maintaining security technologies that enable detection, prevention and response across the enterprise. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth in security tooling with proven leadership experience, and demonstrates a commitment to automation, scalability and engineering-driven security operations. Key responsibilities: - Supports implementation, stabilization, and daily performance of security tooling - Lead lifecycle management of enterprise security tools and platforms - Manage and mentor a team of senior security engineers responsible for deployment, integration, tuning and operational management of security technologies - Drive and develop automation and an engineering first approach to reduce manual efforts - Partner with security operations to ensure tools support
