About this role
Electrical & Electronics Technician UVJC is a Singapore‑based deep‑tech equipment company developing next‑generation dry thin‑film printing and deposition technologies. We design and build advanced tools that bridge the gap between R&D and scalable manufacturing, enabling precision, solvent‑free fabrication across semiconductors, electronics, and emerging applications. Job Purpose: Apply principles of electrical and electronics engineering to install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain Universal Vapor Jet Corporation (UVJC) equipment at company/customer sites. Provide timely field service support to ensure system uptime, customer satisfaction, and safe, compliant operations under direction of engineering and service leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Install, assemble, and commission systems, including electrical panels, wiring harnesses, sensors, actuators, and controllers. Support hardware R&D initiatives from component build to system integration - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, and functional verification to meet performance specifications and uptime targets - Troubleshoot electrical/electronic faults using schematics, wiring diagrams, logs, and diagnostic instruments; identify root cause and implement corrective actions. - Support system upgrades, retrofits, and engineering change implementations in the field; verify changes through testing and documentation. - Manage spare parts and tools: maintain service kits, track consumption, return defective parts per RMA procedures, and ensure traceability - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality) to resolve recurring issues and improve serviceability. - Maintain high standards of workmanship and cleanliness; follow lockout/tagout and other electrical safety practices. - Be available for travel and occasional on-call support as required to meet customer commitments.
