VMware Engineer & Design Budapest, Hungary What success looks like in this role: Unisys is currently looking for a skilled VMware professional to join our team and support our enterprise manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and operating our VMware-based infrastructure and services. Design, implement, and manage VMware infrastructure. Designing and implement network segmentation and virtualization using VMware Cloud Foundation tools Create and deploy an asynchronous disaster-avoidance solution with VMware Live Recovery (SRM) and vSphere Replication Provide expertise on complex technical projects related to the data center's virtualized server infrastructure, storage, and backup and recovery solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of VMware environments. They will work with key stakeholders to ensure proper capacity planning, expand capabilities, enhance efficiency, and streamline operations, with a focus on VMware systems and services in a 24x7x365 Manufacturing environment. You will be successful in this role if you have: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with VMware technologies, Operations Manager, NSX-T, Live Recovery Manager (SRM) Strong expertise in Layer 2 and 3 physical and virtual networking, Experience with CISCO and Dell Switches is an advantage. Proven experience in the design of secure VMware Virtualization environments. Proven experience and understanding of architecture principles across infrastructure platforms, security, data, integration, and applications layers. Solid understanding of Microsoft technology, including Domains, Active Directory, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network, data center, and application software.
