About this role
Associate Technical Field Engineer Sydney, NSW, Australia Sydney, NSW, Australia What success looks like in this role: Installs, repairs, and provides technical maintenance for product and component hardware and software, primarily at customer premises. Ensures systems operate as designed and are maintained or upgraded per requirements. Works collaboratively with technical colleagues to deliver timely, effective service. Manages scheduling, administration, and customer communication to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and product functionality. Provides the full range of field engineering support Takes complete ownership of onsite service activity. Performs advanced maintenance on all products, including low‑complexity installations. Provides technical feedback on equipment, systems, and processes to improve service delivery. Uses advanced tools and technical knowledge to resolve client problems and conduct scheduled installs. Identifies and resolves systemic issues within the team. Proactively supports team members with technical assistance and expertise. Contributes to improved client service metrics through reporting and documentation. Monitors technical and process issues, informing management and recommending improvements. You will be successful in this role if you have: Technical certification or associate degree preferred. At least 6 mos of hands‑on experience in field engineering or related technical support roles. Proven ability to perform maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting in customer environments.
