Abogado(a) Corporativo Senior – LATAM Tecnología ( bilingüe) Bogota, DC, Colombia Bogota, DC, Colombia What success looks like in this role: • Serves as counsel for an assigned departmental or functional area, or within a defined area of law. • With guidance from senior lawyers, provides legal advice and counsel to management and associates on a range of corporate and business issues. • With guidance from senior lawyers, engages with business leaders to understand direction, changes and objectives; provides advice on potential legal issues or challenges. • Enforces Legal policies and procedures. • With guidance or in partnership with senior lawyers, presents training to internal clients on specified legal topics. • Collaborates with supported Finance & Accounting, Sales & Sales Excellence, Corporate Operations, Engineering / Product Development, Marketing & Communications and/or others, to ensure that product offerings, business dealings and agreements are legally compliant and protective of the company's interests. May provide service and advice within or across areas described below. • Works with supported stakeholders, helping ensure their understanding of and support for internal checks, controls and related governance standards. • Supports all governance functions and creation of public filings. • Supports entity management and maintenance. • Monitors legislative and agency pronouncements, publications and activities. • Assists in researching, tracking and updating privacy and data regulation related notices, policies, standards, guidelines and processes. • Works with internal teams to understand business objectives and address potential privacy issues and considerations. • Advises internal teams to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
