About this role

Stewardship Analyst – Corporate Governance & Active Ownership Are you passionate about Sustainable Investing and in particular Investor Stewardship? Investor stewardship is a core component of UBS Asset Management's fiduciary and sustainable investing approach. We are seeking an experienced Stewardship Analyst to strengthen our corporate governance, proxy voting and engagement capabilities across global investments. In this role you will: • act as a corporate governance subject matter expert, providing independent, high quality analysis on boards, executive remuneration, shareholder rights, capital structures and governance risks across global markets • apply deep governance expertise to inform voting decisions, company engagement priorities and investment discussions • assess company practices in a global and competitive context, including peer benchmarking and evolving governance and ESG standards • lead end to end proxy voting research and execution, ensuring voting decisions are robust, policy aligned and clearly articulated • demonstrate strong hands on experience with proxy voting systems, voting workflows and data quality management • contribute to the ongoing development and application of UBS Asset Management's global proxy voting policies • conduct in depth engagements with senior board members and executive management on governance and material ESG topics • engage confidently on complex and sensitive issues, including executive pay, board effectiveness, succession planning and long term strategy • integrate broader ESG considerations into engagement activity, including climate, nature, social issues and emerging areas such as AI governance • work closely with active and passive investment teams, ensuring stewardship insights are well integrated into investment decision making •
