About this role
Head of Greater China Institutional Client Coverage Do you have the knowledge and experience to drive the business (development) with our Greater China client base? Do you have a track record of successfully managing client relationships? Are you able to create collaborative solutions in challenging and complex situations? If so, we are looking for a strong candidate to join our Institutional Client Coverage team in HK to lead and grow our institutional asset management business in Greater China, very much as a player / coach. You will lead and work closely with the incumbent Client Relationship Managers in our Greater China Institutional business. The role will focus on shaping the business strategy for Greater China and growing our institutional business in the region across the UBS AM capability set. This will be done in conjunction with the incumbents. You (and your team) will be accountable for the delivery of agreed business targets and maximise (new) client mandates by leveraging industry knowledge, internal and external contacts and relationships. Key responsibilities • a key role in shaping our strategy for Greater China • player / coach in growing our Greater China business, leading and closely working with incumbents • increase corporate & market awareness of the Greater China business, including the promotion of UBS AM at key events and roadshows as required • contribute strongly to the team's prospecting activity as a player. Leverage existing and new relationships to grow / diversify our book and achieve growth ambitions for the business •
