Role Summary As part of the PDSA Optical team, you will support product development through non-imaging optical engineering, focusing on light guide design. You will work with cross-functional teams from early concept to implementation. You will provide early recommendations on LED selection and illumination architecture, define optical requirements, and perform simulations to evaluate uniformity and optical efficiency. You will validate designs through measurement and ensure good correlation between simulation and actual performance. You will help resolve illumination issues during build cycles, support optical component management, and contribute to reducing design risks, improving accuracy, and accelerating project progress. Responsibilities (What he/she will do after joining UI) - Provide early-stage recommendations on optical architecture and LED selection. - Perform optical simulations and 3D optimization based on product PRD requirements. - Analyze optical measurement results to evaluate and predict product illumination performance (e.g., uniformity and efficiency). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams
