Responsibilities (What he/she will do after join UI): - Design injection mold by CAD software independently - Define tooling specification and initial tool design before RFQ - Provide the suggestion to Mechanical Designer to de-risk from tooling perspective before tooling kick-off - Review DFM and MFA (mold-flow report) to identify the potential risks on cosmetic, assembly, dimension, molding issues with vendors. - Resolve tooling issues to minimize design change and moderate the impact of schedule - Build up lesson learnt and molding database for project development of new generation. - Drive new technologies of tooling and molding to optimized our projects - Provide the assessment of each tooling vendor quarterly Qualifications - College or above - At least 10 years of tooling fabrication, fitter, EDM, wire-cutting, in-house manufacturing - 5 years of tooling design by using CAD software independently - Proficient knowledge
