Responsibilities: - Drive quality engineering and supplier management for mechanical components, including plastic injection, die-casting, stamping, rubber molding, and CNC parts. - Manage supplier quality performance, including supplier qualification, onsite audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Collect and analyze supplier yield reports, identifying quality trends and driving data-driven improvements. - Develop and maintain robust quality systems (e.g., IQC, OQC, IPQC) to ensure end-to-end quality control. - Drive supplier resolution of quality issues using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D, RCA, CAPA). - Define product validation and reliability test standards, including detailed test plans and methodologies. - Establish measurement methods and inspection criteria; review and approve inspection fixtures and gauges to ensure product quality compliance and measurement consistency. - Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring process readiness, DFM feedback, and quality stability. - Collaborate cross-functionally with MPD, MEPM, MDE, MTE, PD, and Manufacturing teams on quality initiatives. -
