PURPOSE: To ensure the effective implementation of all occupational injury and illness prevention programs and Environmental, Health and Safety compliance policies, standards, and procedures at the plant/facility. This responsibility includes but is not limited to the development, communication and implementation of the plant/facility Accident Prevention Plan and Contingency plan. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain a variety of safety and environmental programs, policies and procedures that will ensure Timken Keene and all associates are in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards, and drive improvements in EHS performance. Work with Corporate EH&S and Keene HR manager to develop and implement programs to reduce environmental impacts and occupational injuries and illnesses, including work area assessments, team-based injury investigations and clear, measurable goals. Lead Keene Plant environmental and safety committee meetings. Establish appropriate safety EHS committee roles & responsibilities. Update Keene HR manager, as applicable, on environmental and safety issues or changes to safely metrics for morning fast respon
