Job Summary The Senior Accounting Expert - SAM is responsible for managing end‑to‑end accounting activities across South Asia Markets to meet group, local, and statutory reporting requirements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, and driving process efficiency through collaboration and continuous improvement. May act as a lead, providing subject matter guidance to team members. What you will do Monitor and execute core accounting activities, including monthly book close, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and schedule preparation and analysis Complete internal group reporting accurately and within defined timelines Ensure compliance with internal control systems, accounting standards (IFRS / Ind AS), and group reporting guidelines Drive adherence to functional KPIs and performance metrics Prepare and ensure timely completion of statutory financial statements for all entities within the SAM market Coordinate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders such as PtP, RtR
