About this role
Sr. Analyst Shared Services Treasury Chandigarh, India This position will be responsible for performing Treasury Accounting - updating cashbooks, recording journals and preparation of reconciliations. • Daily enter key data of financial transactions/ payments in database, Bank Portal, manage helpdesk. • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts and document business transactions. • Prepares assets, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. • Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness. • Prepare Balance sheets reconciliation, P&L statement and cash forecast. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. • Categorization of Financial transactions to reflect correctly as per company's policy and accounting standards. • Follow and adhere to a system of controls, procedures, and forms for any financial reconciliation. • Contributes to initiating the process improvement plans by actively introducing new ideas, removing waste from the process, and maintaining the high standards of deliverables. • Support in coaching and training the existing as well as new staff over various processes to make them self-reliant and backup for each other, for the times of need. • Supporting in various internal and external audit requirements for various business entities. • Update productivity and quality trackers. Maintain, prepare and submit MIS reports. • Prepare and provide any reports to the auditors after approval from Supervisor. • Update SOPs on regular basis as required. • SOX compliance process documentation and coordinates with local finance team to
