Role Overview Reporting to the Manager, Tailings & Environment, the incumbent develops, manages and is accountable for the environmental programs at Red Dog Operations. Including accountable to lead the Environmental support team in engaging with other operational departments to influence outcomes in the area of environmental performance based on the data analysis, observations, regulatory knowledge, and best professional judgment. Incumbent also provides supervision of Environmental exempt staff, advises and develops direct reports in their departmental responsibilities, and ensures they have the resources needed to effectively and safely perform the tasks required. Responsible for the environmental monitoring program and ensuring full compliance to environmental operating permits.
