Job Title: Quality Engineer Job Location: 13460 Lockwood Road, Houston, TX 77044 Duties: Responsibilities include: Understand customer requirements and determines how TechnipFMC standard quality systems and/or processes best meet those needs. Assist Project Management Team during project execution in terms of quality issues. Support product execution and ensures compliance with contract quality requirements, anticipating when to consult with other departmental functions. Ensures cooperation and interaction across many diverse parties both internal and external to the organization. Prepare specific quality documents/reports required by the Clients for Projects. Assess documents related to the quality discipline issued by suppliers. Being the interface with Supplier Quality Team for managing quality issues with suppliers. Manage nonconformances, lead and/or support RCAs (Root Cause Analysis). Take part in meetings with suppliers and/or Clients to discuss quality issues. Monitor Quality KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Mentoring of Quality Inspectors, suppliers and Third-Party Inspectors Support project quality audits, conduct internal and external quality audits if required. Manage quality incidents.
