Principal Engineer - Seal Technology Houston, TX Job Purpose Hiring Principal Engineer-Seal Technology for Houston, TX! Within the TechnipFMC Core Technologies organization, reports to the Senior Manager- Seal Technology in Houston, TX. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without restriction. For this position, we are not sponsoring or taking over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time. Job Description Develop concept papers with clear value propositions, aligned design metrics, and stakeholder agreement using Lean product‑development principles. Create and communicate innovative, feasible, and value‑added sealing product designs. Define product attributes, requirements, and specifications based on the technology roadmap. Lead and manage the full product development process, delivering sealing solutions that meet sponsor expectations. Build and guide a value‑stream team, establishing an Obeya with visual management, cadence meetings, and open problem‑solving. Provide technical leadership, coaching, and cross‑functional collaboration while driving fast learning, experimentation, and prototyping. Make data‑driven engineering decisions that support business needs and ensure rapid detection and resolution of abnormal technical or commercial issues. Foster continuous improvement through Lean Transformation, promoting communication, breaking barriers, and escalating challenges to sponsors when needed.
