About this role
Field Development Engineer Kongsberg Job Purpose The Field Development Engineeer Leads Front End engineering activities including Studies, Concept Select, Pre-FEED, FEED, and Tender preparation, driving the development of technically robust and cost-efficient field development solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal subsea production systems with strong focus on SURF and rigid pipeline solutions. You will also be responsible for providing technical leadership across studies and projects. Job Description Leads and drives study activities with ownership of technical direction and delivery. Leads concept development with emphasis on SURF systems and rigid pipeline design. Establishes and approves technology selections in early phases. Drives optimal system design leveraging rigid pipeline expertise and integrated SPS/SURF solutions. Ensures quality performance and promotes company tools and technologies. Mentors engineers and collaborates across teams. You are meant for this job if: MSc in Engineering or equivalent experience. 5-10 years subsea oil & gas experience with strong SURF and rigid pipeline background. Proven leadership of Front End studies. Deep knowledge of subsea systems and field architecture. Strong communication and leadership skills.
