Engineer II - Valves & Chokes Hyderabad Job Purpose Provides engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction. Job Description Responsible for new product development, BOM, technical Documentation and calculations related to highly customized and high quality Industrial products such as valves and Choke . Provide engineering support for internal and external needs. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Work on product design and development activities. · Develop innovative and cost effective mechanical designs using plant standard procedures, engineering knowledge and experience. · Work with team and technical leads to build concept designs & develop final design for NPD & VA/VE programs. · Do design calculations, design reviews, develop test plans & execute product validation tests in test lab with the help of testing team · Perform related engineering calculations by using the Mathcad. · Work with designer and manufacturing engineers, follow the manufacturing and assembling process, employ problem solving skills to resolve issues encountered. · Create & Review of 3D models, assemblies, drawings and BOM · Teamcenter Knowledge added Advantage · Work independently or as a team member in the global engineering team · Interact with global engineering teams on technical and project management activities · Liaise with production plant during build pro
